He also says that most people take action because of inspiration or desperation and that, usually, it is the latter that motivates people to change.

Circumstances

 

I used to think that some people were dreamers and that other people were doers. My opinion now is that most people are dreamers and only a few people are doers.

 

Life's circumstances stop us. At the moment it looks like this is a temporary thing. The problem is that as soon as this circumstance is resolved the next one shows up. This can happen to anyone, slowly taking up all your creative energy until you wake up 20 years later saying, "If only".
